Limitations of Perspective in the Quest for Higher Consciousness
It cannot be known that one is asleep until awoken. What isn’t conducive to sleep will disturb and be perceived as negatively imposing or preaching incorrect beliefs unless listening with an open heart. There is no way around it short of being open to hear the truth, even if it is different than one wants to believe currently. Therefore, it is necessary to prelude the truth with positioning one mentally so as to be open. This can be accomplished through skillful use of logic; however this is not the most powerful way because logic is inherently fallacious. Each appeal to rationality creates numerous polarities, which result in opportunities of counter-force to be applied. There is no need to operate from a lower level, as though matching methods for a duel, but rather to maintain all the power of the highest level possible. This supports a raise in consciousness through higher truths, which always hold the most power. Truth is beyond the intellect, so the intellect is irrelevant. One only sinks into error by not realizing this limitation. Climbing to greater truth is impossible by using faculties of lesser truths. Rather, one must reach higher and pull. If one attempts to come to greater truths through the intellect one still only remains in the intellect. Just as if one attempts to come to greater truths through fear, pride, or guilt one will only ever find the level of truth equal to their own perspective. This is why it is highly uncomfortable to find truth. One must relinquish their own identity and step into the unknown.
It is, therefore, irrelevant to discuss the issues that the rational mind will become obsessed with and find such excitement in discussing. At levels of truth above the intellect, intellectual questions are irrelevant. It is important to accept, in some sense, that one is asleep. Once surrendered to that idea the potential to wake up appears. This may not appeal to the rational mind, but there is still the choice to accept it. If one learns to listen with an open heart it will fill with truth. The only way to find the accuracy of these statements is to test them. All the questions that drive one mad will then be answered. Furthermore, the answers will be experienced rather than explained. This may seem unbelievable now and that is fine. You don’t know you are asleep until you wake up.
