Letting Go

Purity in Awarity isn’t about clarity or mental dexterity,
It’s letting go of security in exchange for anonymous obscurity,
Embracing uncertainty, full bore unsurity,
Making a rarity, a scarcity, of consensus reality.
The absence of polarity brings about gestalt inclusivarity,
Infinite possibility spiraling out from Alternity,
Melding into the mystery that is me,
Eternally.

The Meaning of Life

All life is metaphor. All we know is relativity; from this relativity we derive meaning. We know the relationship which one “thing” has to another; this gives context, thusly introducing the use of these noises that we call words. Words are really just referring to various aspects of life within the context of these relationships relative to one another. Language is metaphor for aspects of existence. This is the reason one can not discuss the meaning of life. Life has no meaning.
I do not say this negatively, or mean to say that life is not of the utmost beauty, but rather I say this because to have meaning is to point to something else. Words have meaning because they illustrate concepts that are present in nature, they point to aspects of life. For life to have meaning it would need to point to something else. This is where the problem arises because one can not discuss all of existence, all of life, and give it meaning in it’s totality since it is all that is. Therefore, because it is all that is, there is nothing else sufficient to represent it, for it to point to, for it to be relative to. All that can be said with meaning is in regard to certain aspects of it, only about the bite-sized portions that can be simultaneously comprehended, and the meaning that is given to these bite-sized portions is only meaning in the context of itself. It is an infinitely continuous Mobius strip of sorts. The exit door is no where to be found. For life to have meaning one would need to locate this exit door and walk through before being able to simultaneously comprehend existence within any context. However, if this were possible it would mean that wherever you are when you step past the threshold, whatever it is that you are contextualizing life with, must also be included in your description, which again runs into the same inherently impossible task of defining the self containing set. Consciousness’ self-reflexive nature throws an inherent monkey-wrench in the gears. When you are talking about a self-containing set there is nothing to get outside of because you, your consciousness, is contained in this set, and your consciousness is this set, as well as allowing your perception of this set, and the illusion of any part of this set being separate from “you”, or any other part of the set for that matter. Since consciousness is self-reflexive, self contained, one would need to alter the nature of consciousness itself to achieve this monumental task of giving life a meaning. By doing so life itself would have to change, and therefore would not be life as we know it. Therefore, life as we experience it can not be given meaning. No context is suitable; the nature of existence is context free by definition. The meaning of life is life.

Take yourself as lightly as the breeze,
Dance with the energy of fire,
Flow as smoothly as water,
Until your body expires.

The concept of “I” only has meaning in the context of life- In the context of consciousness experiencing life. Ultimately “I” has no meaning. Just as, ultimately, life has no meaning other than itself.

And this Brilliant Dance continues.
